The atmospheric Helsinki Christmas Market will once again open at Senate Square on 28 November and invites visitors to enjoy its offerings every day until 22 December 2025. A diverse group of Finnish small entrepreneurs provides sustainable gift ideas, and there is a wide selection of traditional and modern Christmas delicacies to enjoy on site. The programme ranges from Christmas carols to swinging jazz evenings.

The nearly 30 restaurants and cafés offer favourites such as spiced Christmas porridges, handmade lörtsy pastries and khachapuris, tasty fish and game dishes, Korean corn dogs, sweet bubble waffles, croffles and cookies, as well as mulled wines and glühweins in various flavours – plus more unusual specialties like spruce shoot and chaga lattes. The food selection at Helsinki Christmas Market highlights organic and locally produced options, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and special diets, and many portions are available for takeaway.
Christmas Market brings sustainable gift shopping and festive programme to Senate Square. At the gift stalls, visitors can once again discover sustainable and distinctive alternatives to mass-produced gift items, from beloved classics to brand-new ideas.
Helsinki Christmas Market is open at Helsinki’s Senate Square from 28 November to 22 December 2025, Sunday–Thursday 11:00–19:00 and Friday–Saturday 11–20. Admission to the market is free.

Manta’s Christmas Market
At Havis Amanda Square, next to the Market Square, visitors can enjoy Christmas delicacies and the beautiful maritime city of Helsinki. The heart of the square is the Christmas pavilion, which serves as a meeting place and a stage for small performances.
Come and enjoy the festive atmosphere at Manta’s Christmas Market, which will be hosting various events from December 5th to January 6th. The program continues throughout the Christmas season until Epiphany.
Mantan Joulutori is open every day during 5.12.2025 -6.1.2026 from 11-19. Admission to the market is free.

Contemporary Art in the windows of Torikorttelit
Korttelit is a new open-air art event that brings contemporary art by young artists to the shop windows, balconies and courtyards of the Torikorttelit area, creating a 24/7 open-air gallery in the heart of Helsinki. Torikorttelit area is located close to Senate Square, Market Square and Esplanade Park.
The exhibition is curated by Miro-Benjamin Lindström and is open every day during 28.11.2025-7.1.2026. Admission to the event is free.
